I am so happy to hear this. My husband Ross (on the "Up Yours Cancer" flickr page) is doing well. Disease free, but still must endure another 3 months of chemo. He was stage 4, did three months chemo, then surgery, & now - 3 more months of Folfox + Avastin. We cannot wait to be where you are! And together we can reach that 5 year, cancer free mark! I'm 43 and had emergency surgery on January 1, 2008 to remove a stage 3 cancerous tumor in my colon. Before the tumor shut down my colon I was healthy and very active - the last person you expect to have cancer. After the surgery there were complications, an infection, a couple of different procedures, and another surgery on March 6 to close the ileostomy. I start chemo on Monday and am more than a little scared. However, reading your blog and seeing your courage and progress has really helped.
