Still thinking of you guys...glad to see you aren't still thinking of cancer, but wondering if you're going to be updating periodically or if no news = good news? Hope you're well and making the most of what In-N-Out has to offer (even this pescatarian loves them for their grilled cheeses). :)

Holly, We have so much in common. I'm 43 and had emergency surgery on January 1, 2008 to remove a stage 3 cancerous tumor in my colon. Before the tumor shut down my colon I was healthy and very active - the last person you expect to have cancer. After the surgery there were complications, an infection, a couple of different procedures, and another surgery on March 6 to close the ileostomy. I start chemo on Monday and am more than a little scared. However, reading your blog and seeing your courage and progress has really helped. Thanks to you and your husband for posting your experience. Blessings to you and yours.

I hope that the Schnaars family is thoroughly enjoying all that a [new] normal life has to offer. Champagne, creme brulee, deep tissue massage, fancy shoes, quality time with (and without) the kids...one of the few good things about cancer is that it's pretty much mandatory to indulge yourself at every opportunity. ;)
