This is kind of the look that Holly always gets when I bust out the camera in weird situations. The ‘Schnaars, put it away’ look.
We met with Dr. Uyei this morning to find out about the CT from last week. Good news!!! The spots in Holly’s chest was simply a remnant thymic. What is that you ask? I had no idea and had to Wikipedia it myself. Essentially, it is an organ that helps in the creation of T-Cells. You can look that one up, but it is good news.
We also found out that we miscalculated the number of chemo treatments that Holly has in our favor. We had thought that after today she would have had 4 more treatments, when in fact, she only has 3 more. W00T!!
Finally, Holly had her 5th treatment today and feels horrible. Tomorrow will be better.
Wow great news on the CT scan! That is always a scary time of waiting to hear from the doctor. I hope Holly feels better soon. Keep on fighting! LIVESTRONG!
That is huge. Beth and I are really glad to hear the good news.

Hey there, Champ!!
That is great news!!
Let me know when you want to celebrate at
Johnny Rockets!! : )
See you soon!!
Love you!!
Holly is on the road to recovery and thanks to all her support and love she is fighting and winning!!! Holly and I have an awesome idea for a cancer donation….DVD players for drip chemo with “Weeds” or another funny show to watch. Time flew by last Monday while watching our favorite show and I couldn’t help but think how taking your mind off of the situation sure does help. Especially if you are even laughing in the chemo lounge!! We are thinking of how to make this happen…..stay tuned.
Carrie
What wonderful news!!! Glad to hear it and I look forward to hearing many more like this.
