Holly and I were just talking about where the word ‘cancer’ comes from. Of course, rather than pondering it, I hit the Wiktionary.
From Latin cancer ‘crab’. Applied to cancerous tumors because the enlarged veins resembled the legs of a crab.
So don’t get crabs.

Missed seeing you this weekend. Hope Holly is getting stronger. Just think this time next year will be much different!! We’re nearly half-way to getting through this chemo and then we can par-tay. Keep fighting the fight, keeping the vibes on recovery. Everything I read says that a positive attitude is the most important weapon you can have. Keep smiling…..
