Wow, that’s just about all we can say. Wow.
Thank you very much for all of the kind words, positive thoughts, awesome vibes and everything else that everyone has sent our way over the past week.
I’ve been really busy with work, so I apologize for not writing sooner, but we are simply amazed at all of the amazing support that everyone has given us.
The video has received over 4,000 views on YouTube and MetaCafe. The comments on the site and personal emails have been wonderful. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
I saw your video last night. Keep up the fight and know you are doing a great service by speaking out. We need more people like you. LIVESTRONG!
You guys are an amazing inspiration for everyone who has met with adversity in their lives; cancer or no cancer. (I like the sounds of no cancer best!) Keep up with your blog, it’s one of the greatest teaching tools out there.
Scott,
Just as Holly is inspirational in her attitude and focus you are also to be recognized for all your contributions to the cancer fight. Setting up this blog and taking time, which there isn’t much of, to educate and inform everyone concerned is fantastic. For those who are far and can’t be involved, they can check the blog and be updated. For those who are fighting the fight they can see they are not alone. And for those others like me, I can be inspired by you and Holly and your commitment to raising awareness. I am really proud of you and so glad you are in our family.
Carrie
Scott and Holly –
Holly, I applaud you for putting a human face on this thing that no one wants to think about. And you, Scott, I can relate a little to your situation in that I am at times a caregiver to my wife, who continues to cope against the burden of chronic Rheumatoid Arthritis.
I will be adding your button when I launch my new blog, wordstoheal.com, in a couple of weeks.
All the best to both of you and your family.
Daniel
Holly and Scott,
I watched your video today… a couple of times actually. I was struck by the strength and the vibrancy that came through in the video.
Thank you for sharing your experience. If either of you would be interested in writing a guest post at GNMParents, to share your experiences within the parenting community, we would be honored. Please email me if you are interested.
Best of everything,
Meg

Holly and Scott,
Your strength is unbelievable. I love the shave head look, but understand that chemo might make you a bit chilly at times. Several years ago, the online knitting magazine knitty put out a pattern for the most beautiful chemo chap ever (http://www.marblehead.net/amy/knittyF04surp.pdf — scroll down a few pages). If you aren’t a knitter or don’t have any near you, let me know and I’ll whip one up for you. Or, you could go a more direct route with a hat (http://www.theanticraft.com/archive/imbolc06/fuckcancer.htm) with this written across the front.
Stay strong,
Amy
I finally watched the vidio. You faced your illness better than I could have hoped. Very proud of you.
